Horse is put down after road collision

A horse has been put down after a collision with a motorcyclist.The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the incident on an unclassified single track road in the Highlands.

The Suzuki motorcycle struck the horse at about 6.15pm on Thursday on Springfield Road Brae between Culbokie and Balblair.
