Hospital to probe GP's death after stillbirth

A PROBE has been launched into the death of a GP who died in hospital the day after she gave birth to a stillborn daughter.

Dr Fiona Agnew, 38, who worked at a practice in Bo'ness, died suddenly at Forth Valley Hospital less than 24 hours after the delivery of her second child, Isla Elspeth. She leaves behind her young son Robert and partner Craig Stobo, who along with other members of her family has set up a memorial trust in her name to fund research.
