SCOTLAND'S packed summer, which included the Commonwealth Games, the Ryder Cup and the referendum, is almost over.

People will gain a much-needed lie-in tomorrow, after the clocks go back one hour at 2am, marking the end of British Summer Time.

Alan Wilson of James Ritchie & Son, one of the country's longest established clockmakers, has started turning back the firm's many timepieces.
