Injured troops to cycle across the US

TWO wounded Scots servicemen arrived in the US today to compete in the world's toughest cycle race.

Royal Marine Don Maclean, 34, originally from Glasgow but now based in Liverpool, and Private Steve Richardson, 24, from Tranent in East Lothian, will compete for the eight-strong team of injured British servicemen.

Team Battle Back are competing in the 3000 mile long endurance challenge across the US in eight days.
