Inquiry call into asylum family’s flats death fall

The three people who jumped to their deaths from the 15th floor of a block of flats in Glasgow were a Russian father, mother and adult son whose application to remain in the UK had recently been refused.

The bodies of the family were tied together by rope when they were found by the concierge outside the Red Road flats in the Balornock area of the city on Sunday morning.
