THEY are best known as the battling, dysfunctional couple Jamesie and Ella Cotter from the BBC sitcom Rab C Nesbitt, and now actors Tony Roper and Barbara Rafferty are squaring off again in Glasgow.

The pair star in Theatre Royal's latest production, Agatha Christie's Murder On Air, which recreates three of the author's BBC radio plays live on stage. The plays, broadcast in the 1930s, are brought to life in the style of the original BBC shows, including sound effects and stage direction. The thrillers, brought life by the Agatha Christie Theatre Company run from Tuesday July 8 to Saturday July 12.
