DOZENS of Santas and mini reindeer took part in a 6k run to raise cash for St Andrew's Hospice.

The event at Strathclyde Country Park in Lanarkshire is held every year, with participants encouraged to don Santa suits or antlers as they run, walk or jog.

St Andrews provides specialist care services to patients from across Lanarkshire with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. More than £65,000 must be raised every week to ensure the service continues. Its costs in 2013 were £6.2 million, one-third of which came from public donations.
