Kate's all smiles to open studio

The Duchess of Cambridge spent Valentine's Day touring a school as she opened a room set aside as a tranquil art studio.

Kate was taking part in only her second public engagement of the year as she wore a bright blue LK Bennett dress to Northolt High School in Middlesex.

There, she met children benefiting from art therapy provided by one of her organisations. She opened a newly-refurbished room that has been transformed into a tranquil art studio. It is the seventh art space opened by the Art Room charity.
