A TEAM of intrepid Scots trekkers have climbed 17,600ft to the base camp of Mount Everest for charity - wearing kilts.
John Urquhart from Ullapool, Alex Mackenzie from Cawdor, Mark Bain from Nairn and Susan Drew from Kirkhill started their ascent on November 11 and are due to arrive back next Thursday, all in aid of raising funds for the Highland Hospice.
