King joins McCoist at Ibrox for crunch talks

RANGERS' second-biggest shareholder, Dave King, joined manager Ally McCoist at Ibrox as moves for a takeover of the crisis-torn club took a new twist.

The Scottish businessman was in Glasgow yesterday for talks with administrators Duff and Phelps, a week after former board member Paul Murray revealed he was leading a Blue Knights bid to take over the club. McCoist also met the administrators.
