Kitchin urges Scots cooks to enter shows

TOM Kitchin, Scotland's youngest Michelin starred chef, has urged more Scottish cooks, both professional and amateur, to put themselves forward for television shows such as MasterChef.

Kitchin himself appeared last night as a judge in part two of this year's three-night final of the popular BBC cookery show, which ends tonight and attracts some five million viewers per episode.

The three remaining contestants had to cook one course each at Gordon Ramsay's renowned Petrus resturant in London, but none are Scots.
