A FESTIVAL to light up and show off the delights of Rouken Glen Park in East Renfrewshire at night has been such a success that all 8400 tickets have sold out, forcing organises to put the show on for an extra night.
Demand has been so high for the Electric Glen that a further 1500 tickets will go on sale for Wednesday February 13, the day before the four-day event was originally due to begin.
East Renfrewshire council leader, councillor Jim Fletcher, said: "I am delighted that Electric Glen has been a sell-out success. We were confident it was a bright idea and expected an enthusiastic uptake from local residents and visitors, but this has exceeded all expectations."
