ORGANISERS of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games say the event has already received a major boost from the feelgood factor generated by the London Olympics.
Research by the organising committee shows interest in buying tickets has doubled, while more than 40% of Scots say their experience of London 2012 has made them more excited about the Glasgow Games. There has also been an upsurge in public interest in volunteering for the 2014 Games.
