Lottery cash helps Scots projects

A SKATEPARK, a mountain rescue team and a waterfront museum have all benefited from more than £100 million of lottery cash.

Almost 4000 grants were awarded across Scotland last year, new figures show.

Dundee's V&A museum project received £200,000, while £100,000 was granted to develop the Kings Park Skatepark in Stirling.

The Ochils Mountain Rescue Team was awarded almost £10,000 for new satnav equipment and more than £262,000 went to Home-Start Aberdeen, which helps disadvantaged families.
