A man has been seriously injured after he was hit by a car.
The 20-year-old pedestrian was struck by the vehicle on Main Road in the Ferguslie area of Paisley at around 11.40pm on Friday.
He sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital where his condition was described as serious, police said.
The 19-year-old driver was uninjured.
Sergeant Kenny Malaney said: "I would urge anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident to contact police immediately via the non-emergency number 101."
