A YOUNG man has sustained serious injuries in an attack while on his way to visit a friend.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the 28-year-old was attacked on Low Waters Road, near a block of flats between Morris Street and Burnblea Street in Hamilton, at around 5pm on Saturday. The incident is being treated as attempted murder.
