An elderly man was killed when a car crashed into his bicycle.
The 78-year-old was riding on the B800 Kirkliston-South Queensferry road near Edinburgh, police said. A black car struck the mountain bike about xat about 10am. The driver of the car, who was uninjured, stopped at the scene and has been helping police with the investigation.
