A man and a woman have been detained following an alleged armed raid at a jeweller.
Police Scotland said a 27-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman had been detained in connection with the incident in which a man entered Laing the jewellers in Frederick Street in Edinburgh with a handgun on Monday morning.
Police said items including watches worth around £100,000 were taken.
No one was injured.
