Man arrested after bodies of woman and young boy discovered in Bonnyrigg house

A 32-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the discovery of the bodies of a woman and a young boy.

The bodies were discovered in a house in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian, at about 8.30pm on Saturday.

Officers went to the house in South Chesters Lane after a ''family acquaintance'' voiced concern.

Police Scotland said a 32-year-old man was being treated in hospital and that officers were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
