A man has been arrested following the death of a woman in a rural town.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "A 56-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 27-year-old woman in the Bridge of Earn area on Friday, January 23, 2015.
"Officers were called to the Horsemill Place area of Muirmont, Bridge of Earn, at around 1.30pm.
"It is anticipated that the male will appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday."
