A man died following a collision between two lorries on the A9 between Kingussie and Aviemore this morning, which closed the road.
Police Scotland have confirmed the death following the accident which happened at around 6.10am today about a mile north of Kingussie.
Another man was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with injuries that are not thought to be serious. No one else was injured.
The A9, the main road artery to the north, has been closed in both directions since and diversions are in place via the B9152. The A9 is likely to remain closed for some time.
