A man has died on the Orkney island of Egilsay.
He failed to return after checking his boat berthed in the harbour. Shetland Coastguard was notified and both Kirkwall lifeboat and the Sumburgh based rescue helicopter were deployed to the area. He was located unconscious in the harbour by members of the Kirkwall lifeboat crew and airlifted to Balfour Hospital.
