A MAN was airlifted to hospital after falling from the roof of his remote home in north-west Scotland.
The man, in his sixties, fell from a pitched roof on to a flat roof in Strath Oykel, Sutherland. Firefighters used ladders to reach the man who had a serious leg injury. He was flown to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness by air ambulance.
