ONE of the Kelpies, the colossal sculptures of two horses' heads, basks in its stunning reflection.

Andy Scott's 100-foot high work of art towers over machinery that is finishing off the project.

The visitor attraction will form a gateway to the Forth and Clyde canal at the Helix in Falkirk.

The Glasgow-based sculptor designed The Kelpies as a monument to horse-powered heritage across Scotland's central belt.

More images of the project taking shape can be seen at The Helix website, the helix.co.uk.
