Mane attraction

DESIGNER Larisa Katz took inspiration from the racecourse as she modelled a hat with horses made from lace at Royal Ascot.

It was part of a display of the bold, the beautiful and the 3D as women strutted their stuff in an array of headgear for Ladies' Day.

Bookmakers were relieved when the Queen arrived in a turquoise hat after yellow was the overwhelming favourite for punters. William Hill said the odds for turquoise were 25-1.
