Manhunt after social club attack

POLICE are hunting a man who fled the scene of an attack outside a miners' club that left two men seriously injured.

The victims, aged 37 and 32, were attacked outside Danderhall Miners Club in Midlothian shortly after midnight on Sunday. The suspect, who had been in the club, drove off in a silver Audi A3.

Both of the men required medical treatment following the incident and the 37-year-old remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Detective Inspector David Pinkney said: "The area would have been busy at the time and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident."
