Martha arrives in Malawi

A YOUNG pupil who raised more than £100,000 after being at the centre of a furore over her school dinners blog has travelled to Malawi to see how the money is being put to use.

Martha Payne, nine, was an internet sensation after her blog, Neverseconds, received more than five million hits.

The rocketing views came after Argyll and Bute Council banned her from taking photos of her school meal, a decision it later reversed.
