THE health club business owned by Olympic silver medallist Liz McColgan has been formally placed in liquidation.
Accountancy firm Johnston Carmichael confirmed it had been appointed as liquidator for the firm, Elizabeth McColgan Limited, which traded as Liz McColgan Health Club in Carnoustie.
The appointment was made after a petition to wind up the firm was lodged at court in November when the gym ceased trading. The firm will now look to find a buyer for the health club.
