THE widow of former world rally champion Colin McRae is planning to build a luxury housing development near the spot where her husband and son died.
Alison McRae has been given permission for a multimillion-pound estate on land next to the family mansion in Lanark.
Mr McRae, 39, was killed when his helicopter crashed near the grounds of his home, Jerviswood House, on September 15, 2007.
