Meet Miss Scotland the brave

A young Scots beauty queen who suffered horrific burns in a house fire is in line for a top humanitarian award.

Since the blaze, Erin McNeill, 22, from Menstrie, Clackmannanshire has dedicated her life to helping educate people about the dangers of fire and raising money to support firefighters. Now the reigning Miss Scotland International is a finalist in two categories of the British Red Cross Humanitarian Citizen Awards.
