Men in court over alleged racist attack

Three men have been arrested after an alleged racist attack which left the victim in hospital.

An Asian man is said to be seriously ill following the incident in Edinburgh's Dalry area at around 2am yesterday. Detectives have cordoned off Downfield Place as inquiries continue. Two men are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today and a third will appear at a later date. Witnesses are asked to call 101 Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
