Minister vows to look into India drugs case

A FOREIGN Office minister has promised to look into the case of a Scot stranded in a "legal limbo" in India.

Jeremy Browne has agreed to make inquiries about James Toner, a 47-year-old Glaswegian father who was arrested on drugs charges three years ago.

Mr Browne made his pledge during a meeting with Mr Toner's MP, Tom Harris, who raised his case during Prime Minister's Questions earlier this month.
