The body of a man missing for almost six weeks has been pulled from a river.

Craig McCaffrey, 24, went missing after a night out with friends in Eglinton Street, Glasgow, on Friday, October 26.

He was last seen wearing a fancy dress costume and heading in the direction of Bridge Street after leaving a Halloween party at the O2 Academy.

Police searched the local area and checked CCTV footage but found no trace of him.

Mr McCaffrey's body was recovered from the river near the Science Centre on Monday morning, Strathclyde Police said.
