Monty launches snare-free Scotland bid

Animal welfare campaigners yesterday renewed their call for an outright ban on snaring.

Advocate for Animals launched their Snare Free campaign outside the Scottish Parliament in the hope Holyrood will adopt a ban.

Environment Secretary Roseanna Cunningham has previously ruled out a ban, saying the practice remained essential to countryside management.
