More concerns over housing of sex offenders

Concerns about where and when sex offenders are accommodated are not addressed by the latest guidance, according to a leading housing association chief.

An updated version of Scotland's National Accommodation Strategy for Sex Offenders (Nasso) was published online this week by the Scottish Government.

It sets out the way housing can contribute to the management of registered sex offenders and the role of agencies – including councils, the police and social landlords such as housing associations.
