The gloomy prediction comes after two recent mergers involving well-known Scots law firms, which will see some of the most established names in the business ceasing to exist.
Catrin Griffiths, editor of The Lawyer magazine, said she expected other Scots firms to be considering mergers as their market share becomes "squeezed".
