Morna dishes the dirt

SCOTS playwright Morna Pearson has described her new play as "like a children's story but with dirty bits".

The Artist Man and the Mother Woman is the Elgin writer's first full-length main stage play and opens at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh next week. Pearson is already working on another play, Ailie and the Alien, for the National Theatre's 2013 NT Connections series performed by youth theatres.
