THE MOTHER of murder victim Moira Jones said she was "disappointed" that Home Secretary Theresa May did not hear her speech calling for greater criminal record checks to weed out foreign criminals attempting to come to the UK.
Bea Jones spoke at a project addressing serious offending by offenders whose crimes cross EU borders, five years after her daughter was raped and murdered in a Glasgow park by Slovakian Marek Harcar.
