The family of a motorcyclist killed in a collision with a road roller have said they will miss him greatly.

Ian Bullions, 61, suffered fatal injuries in the crash on the A93 near Glenshee in Perthshire. The collision happened at around 2.40pm on Monday near a stretch known as Devil's Elbow.

Mr Bullions was originally from the Kirriemuir area in Angus but had been living abroad in recent years, Police Scotland said as it formally named the victim.

In a statement, the force said: "Mr Bullion's family are understandably upset by their sudden loss and have said that he will be greatly missed."

Inquiries into the incident are still being carried out and a report has been sent to the procurator-fiscal.
