ANDY Murray's girlfriend has been working on the designs and colour schemes for his new hotel.

Chef Albert Roux, who is in the process of setting up a restaurant at Murray's Cromlix House, revealed that Murray's girlfriend of seven years, Kim Sears has been consulted on the "wider look" of the hotel.

Mr Roux, 78,, said: "Kim is a lovely girl. I deal with the kitchen mostly but I am told that Kim gave ideas on the colour scheme which is great because she is a talented artist.

"Judith [Judy] has been very involved and is very committed to Dunblane.

"It was a lot for them to take on but I could not have had a better partner.

"I wouldn't have done it if I didn't have a good rapport with the Murrays.

"They are a marvellous family."

Wimbledon champion, Murray, 26, purchased the five star Cromlix House in Kinbuck near his hometown of Dunblane in Perthshire, and it is due to open on April 1.
