Naismith's good deed

SCOTLAND and Everton footballer Steven Naismith has served up a Christmas lunch to homeless people in Glasgow.

Naismith sponsored the meal for Loaves and Fishes, a charity that provides food, clothing and support to people living without a roof over their head.

He said he was "humbled and touched" by the work carried out by the organisation and the stories he heard from those attending at Renfield St Stephen's Church on Bath Street.
