National pride

A new exhibition offering a unique take on Scottish identity is opening at the City Arts Centre, Edinburgh.

I Heart Scotland, a solo exhibition by Scottish artist Rachel Maclean, explores national pride and local history through an unconventional assortment of print and film, with a nod to the upcoming Scottish independence referendum.

The exhibition will tour schools and community centres.

Edinburgh Council's Culture Convener Richard Lewis said the exhibition was "a sight to behold."
