A PARANORMAL investigator who claims to have captured the first infrared image of the Loch Ness Monster will lead a talk on the mythical creature at Scotland's first ever Paranormal Festival.

Jonathan Bright will host the "Is Nessie Paranormal?" event at the Albert Halls in Stirling on October 31.

Mr Bright claims to have captured a picture of a monstrous head coming out of the water at Loch Ness in 2011, and will now look at the possibility that Nessie is a paranormal entity rather than a living creature.

Mr Bright said: "My presentation will be mostly focusing on the idea that Nessie may be some sort of a manifestation of the place itself. This idea of course is not new, there is a long tradition of researchers that have understood Nessie as some sort of paranormal phenomenon."
