New £1m scheme to create 200 artistic residencies in Scotland

Plans to create 200 artistic residencies in Scotland in a programme unrivalled in Europe have been revealed.

Andrew Dixon, chief executive of Creative Scotland, said the organisation would invest £1million in a programme called Creative Futures, which would promote individual talent across the different art forms and have wider benefit for places, communities and younger artists.
