New arrivals plan for Heathrow

A new system to cut down on delays to arriving aircraft is to be introduced at Heathrow Airport next year.

The system planned for the UK's busiest airport by spring 2015 will be brought in by air traffic control company Nats. It will separate planes flying into the west London hub by time instead of distance.
