The Remploy factories in Cowdenbeath and Leven are earmarked for closure after losses of £2.4 million between 2010 and 2011.
It follows a withdrawal of funding for Remploy by the UK Government last year.
Ministers say that the budget for disabled employment services could be better spent.
Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Enterprise Minister Fergus Ewing will join MPs and Fife Council representatives at a meeting with UK Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith to discuss the future of the Cowdenbeath and Leven sites.
They will argue the factories have full order books and can expand if their future can be assured.
