CLASSICAL violinist Nicola Benedetti is to play at a memorial concert for Larry Hagman, who starred as JR Ewing in TV soap Dallas and died last year from throat cancer.
She will perform at a concert organised by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, which Hagman supported, in the Texan capital on Thursday.
Stars from the show will be at the concert.
Orchestra president Jonathan Martin said: "This concert gives us the opportunity to remember his generous spirit and artistic legacy, and to thank his family for his great support of the DSO and all the arts in Dallas, a city he cherished."
