Northern lights, camera, action for Twiggy

Fashion icon Twiggy has been picked to be one of the stars of a new film set in Shetland and Aberdeen.

Film producer Jim Brown chose the glamorous 62-year-old, who flew into the Granite City yesterday to help launch a film festival, for Between Weathers.

The film has been described as a modern-day "David and Goliath story set against the stunning and magical backdrop of Shetland".

Twiggy is to launch the Classic Film Festival at the Belmont Cinema in Aberdeen today with a showing of her 1974 movie, The Boy Friend.
