FINDING a suitable name for the £1.6 billion Forth Replacement Crossing has proved a bridge too far for some people.
Out of more than 7600 names that were put forward for the successor to the Forth Road Bridge, 811 were deemed too offensive for consideration.
Despite organisers trying to help by providing categories to include famous people, locations and colours, some suggestions included swearwords, racist terms or other offensive language.
