On track to make history

FORMULA One test driver Susie Wolff was all smiles as she arrived at Silverstone yesterday ahead of her history-making debut.

The 31-year-old Scot will become the first woman for 22 years to take part in a Grand Prix weekend. Wolff will drive the Williams car of Valtteri Bottas in the first practice in the British Grand Prix this morning.

Wolff, who is from Oban, said: "It will simply be a case of doing a good job for the team and showing what I can do."
